Saliva can exhibit violent behavior?

Air liur bisa menunjukkan perilaku kasar?

A recent study states that a simple saliva test can be an effective tool to predict violent behavior.

The study, headed by Drew Barzman from Children's Hospital Medical Center is precise link between hormone concentrations in saliva and rude behavior.

A total of 17 boys were included in this study. Their ages ranged from 7-9 years. Saliva samples of the boys were then collected three times and the third examined the content of hormones, namely testosterone, cortisol, and dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA).

"We believe that the saliva hormone test could help pediatricians to serve patients. Addition, we hope that if the research is also useful in handling better in school," said Barzman, as quoted by Science Daily (26/03 ).

During the study, saliva testing methods combined with a questionnaire to determine violent behavior in boys.

"This study basically aims to anticipate the behavior of rough, but we still need to do a lot of other things before stating his conclusions," said Barzman.

The results of these studies were reported in the journal Psychiatric Quarterly.
